While the Woolly Bugger might sound like a simple pattern, let's give it a complex twist during this session. This fly needs to be part of your fly box no matter what species you are targeting. Come with a basic knowledge of fly tying, and we’ll help make it more productive and enjoyable.

  • All tying materials will be provided for students to use but bring your favorite vise and tools.   

  • You will learn about proportions so that the finished fly looks and acts appropriately on the water.

  • We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

  • The class will include tips and tricks that will make the fly-tying process more enjoyable.

  • You will leave the class equipped with the skills needed to expand the craft.

Your instructor Sam Reibman has been with TCO since 2018 and has experience in educating fellow anglers on the essentials for tying flies. Come join us..
