Join TCO's Caleb Rabarchak at Boal City Brewing for an evening of tying, learning, and good company. This session focuses on the caddis and its full lifecycle, from larva to emerging adult. You will learn how each stage influences fly design and how to tie patterns that match what trout see on our local waters. Grab a brew and tie some bugs with us!

Additional information:

  • All tying materials will be provided for students but bring your favorite vise and tools.    

  • You will learn about proportions so that the finished fly looks and acts appropriately on the water.

  • We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

  • The class will include tips and tricks that will make the fly-tying process more enjoyable.

  • Please note: Food and beverages are not covered that night.
