Fishing Overview

The Little J is low and clear. Look for sporadic bwo on top. Small nymphs and eggs are doing well sub-surface. Streamers should move fish on cloudy days and early and late in the day.
Please be aware of redds/spawning fish and DO NOT target them. Look out for clear patches of gravel, avoid those areas and help protect the amazing resource we all enjoy!

General Info

Specific Tips

The Little J fish seem to love green anything, whether that be a streamer, a hotspot on a nymph, or the nymph itself.
Fall is streamer season. Even with lower than normal water, pitch a Slumpie under overhanging foliage, against a high bank or that bucket in the middle of a run.
